Last Course Reflection

     What is the most salient area that can have an important and impactful touch in your teaching and planning? During this process of learning, the distinct courses related to teaching have provided students with experiences that enable them to put their knowledge of English language teaching methods and tactics to the best possible use. The modern era has swiftly become a part of our lives, transforming our daily routines in good ways. In this case, English teaching and learning have played a role in the transformation. For that reason, the area of creating digital material have helped to increase student learning by seeking educational innovation.

There are a lot of studies about the advantages in the management of technology for pedagogical purposes. Because of that, my vision regarding the use of technology in English classes has changed through these last years. Creating innovate materials with the use Blogger has showed that learning English could be distinct, flashy, and productive for the learners.  Implementing technology for teaching English as a foreign language provides students the ease of developing their linguistics skills by using various technological tools outside and inside the classroom.

What is the most rewarding, eye-opening mini project developed along the course? I would say that it is the mini project where I recorded a video showing vocabulary and created a practice about the video. There are some reasons why I think in this way. The first reason, students need that the teacher calls their attention with innovative materials because it is bored to learn English with traditional methods. The other reason, it is necessary to learn about the creation of this kind of material because it is more helpful for the students to learn vocabulary.

                In the future as a graduate student and teaching professional, I will always try to do my best for the benefit of my future dear students. I want that my students won´t be afraid of me because it is true that it affects a lot the improvement of their communicative skills. I am going to do a safe environment where students won´t be afraid of making mistakes. I will use a variety of platforms in my classes because they encourage students to learn English effortless. I will listen to my students.

         In my opinion, this course really helped a lot to improve the teaching-learning process through understanding and usage of software tools or computer packages in education, particularly in the field of teaching English. This was really beneficial to my active engagement, problem-solving, creativity, and process analysis. Blogger is the most precious piece of knowledge because this platform is versatile to create different activities.
